In eastern Africa, where poverty overrides all issues, climate change makes life miserable, Oxfam Director Abera Tola said at the Governor’s Global Climate Summit. In southern Ethiopia and northern Kenya, rainfall patterns have changed — from three months of normal rain to four weeks of flash floods.
