U.S Chamber Members Oppose Scopes Monkey Trial on Climate Change

Woo Hoo! Members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are not remaining silent about the organization’s obstructionist approach to climate change. California utility Pacific Gas & Electric publicly pulled its membership.

PG&E isn’t alone in its dismay. The NRDC’s Pete Altman, who has been following the rfit between the Chamber’s staff and its members, notes that companies that are also members of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, like Nike and Johnson & Johnson, are voicing their opposition to the Chamber’s position.
